How long does it take to get your first ButcherBox?
Your box will be delivered within 8 business days from the first time you place your order, or your bill date.
When I’ve purchased my boxes, I’ve received them in about 2-4 business days.
Your ButcherBox will arrive frozen for freshness, and delivered in an insulated box. The boxes are shipped First Class, free of charge to you.
If you’re meal planning using the meat from your ButcherBox, I suggest planning at least a week in advance to allow your box an ample amount of time to arrive before you need it.
Is it hard to cancel ButcherBox?
ButcherBox actually makes it very easy to cancel.
You can cancel your monthly subscription at any time before your next billing date. You are able to do this easily through your account online, or by emailing support@butcherbox.com or calling (855) 981-8568.
If you don’t want to stop your membership completely, you also have the option to pause it.
Log in to your account, click on EDIT BOX and go to your BOX SETTINGS. Underneath “Subscription Perks” located at the bottom of the page, click “Delay or Stop my Subscription” to delay your next order or stop your membership.

Does ButcherBox taste better?
Yes! This is something that I noticed right away.
The meats taste high quality, and so much better than conventional meats. You should definitely be able to notice a difference if you’ve been eating conventional meats for a while and choose to switch to organic meats like ButcherBox.
When my husband and I tried our first box, the first thing we noticed and talked about was how clean the meat tasted!
In addition to the meat tasting better, they actually smell better! I love the fact that when I open a package of meat from ButcherBox, there is virtually no smell. This is very different from conventional meats which often have an unpleasant and unappealing smell to them.
Another great thing about the quality of meat is that they contain less color & blood. The blood is minimal, and there is no added color to the ButcherBox cuts.

I absolutely love and recommend ButcherBox meats! The quality is top-notch, and noticeably different from conventional meats.
I feel great about cooking healthy, quality meals for my family using ButcherBox cuts. I’m confident that we are getting great nutrients from the organic free-range chicken, 100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef, and wild-caught seafood.
I value that there are no GMOS, added hormones, dyes, or antibiotics. My conscience is clear knowing that the animals were humanely raised before production.
It’s also a great buy when you purchase cuts like chicken from them. ButcherBox chicken is actually more cost-effective than the organic chicken in my local grocery store!
ButcherBox is able to give you extensive information about their cuts. On their website they tell you where the meat is sourced from, how the animals were raised, and what they were fed. You just don’t get that in the grocery store!
