Courtship
Courtship takes place when two people agree to begin a relationship with the intention of that relationship resulting in marriage. In courtship, a couple is intentional about growing with and learning one another as well as each other’s families. In godly courtships, boundaries are set to ensure that the relationship remains pure and honors God. LaRissa & Ja’Van began their courtship on May, 21, 2017!
December 2017
Engagement
Engagement begins once a man proposes marriage to a woman and asks her to be his wife. The engagement season is an amazing one & entails lots of growth, communication and work along with the bliss. LaRissa & Ja’Van began their engagement on December 10, 2017!
May 2018
Marriage
Marriage is a serious covenant between God, man and woman. A commitment of unconditional love, patience, sacrifice, crucifying your flesh, serving and living according to the Word of God together. LaRissa & Ja’Van got married and became one on May 5, 2018!
Parenthood
LaRissa & Ja’Van had their first child in March 2021!
