Are Viori Shampoo Bars Good?

This is a great question because when I heard about them, I thought, “This is not going to work on my hair!”. But, surprisingly, I was wrong!

Shampoo bars are actually really good! Viori shampoo bars smell amazing! My family uses the scent Hidden Waterfall Sweet Musk. It smells so good that I wish they made this fragrance as a perfume!

It’s formulated specifically for normal to oily hair. Even though I don’t have oily hair, I still use it because I love the way it smells!

These shampoo bars create a nice lather and they gently cleanse the hair. It doesn’t dry the hair out, it’s easy to use and one bar can last a long time.

Viori How Long Does it Last?

Viori’s Shampoo Bars generally last 30-60 washes. This varies from person to person depending on your hair-washing habits. However, my husband, our daughter, and I all use this same bar and it lasts us a few months!

I wash my hair and my daughter’s hair once a week, so we get many uses from the same bar of shampoo. We happen to go through our conditioner bar a bit more frequently due to our hair texture, but even that lasts a while.

I suggest preventing your shampoo and conditioner bars from getting wet when they are not in use. This will help extend the life of your bars.

Viori creates some durable, water-proof Bamboo holders to store your bars and they do a great job protecting the products from unnecessary wetness.

How to Use Viori Bars?

Personally, I like to wet my hair first and then I rub the bar directly on my hair in circular motions. I use a bit more water to get my desired lather. Then I rinse it out and repeat the process with the Viori conditioner bar.

I love the results of the products. I do believe they help with hair strength and growth. They are very moisturizing and leave the hair feeling and smelling good! It even performs well on my curly hair, leaving them hydrated and defined.

Can Viori Reverse Gray Hair?

This is a popular question! You can click here for Viori’s full response to this question.

Essentially, they say their shampoo and conditioner bars are meant to strengthen your hair and make it healthy. They can’t guarantee that grays will go away.

However, they have had some customers claim to see fewer grays and colored new growth.

Viori says that the women of the Red Yao tribe wash their hair with rice water and are gray-free until they enter their 80’s!. Apparently, rice protein, inositol (a byproduct of fermented rice), and panthenol provide nourishing properties.

They also note that diet and genetics play into whether a person grays or not.

Viori recommends finding the shampoo and conditioner bar that meets your hair needs. Hidden Waterfall & Citrus Yao are formulated for normal to oily hair. Terrace Garden & Unscented are formulated for dry to normal hair.
